How TryLab Works

Structured research. Ethical practice. Actionable intelligence.

For Brands

Research built around your product, your category, and your question.

TryLab gives you access to structured in-home product testing with real consumers — not focus groups, not surveys, not guesswork.

Every study you run on TryLab follows a defined methodology built around your study type and product category. Testers opt in voluntarily, use your product as directed, and submit structured feedback at defined points throughout the study period. What comes back to you is a LabIntel report: a human-reviewed, analysis-ready document you can act on, share with your team, and reference in decision-making.

For Testers

Transparent participation. Protected identity.

When you opt in to a TryLab study, you know exactly what you're signing up for. You'll see the product category, the study duration, what feedback is required, and how your data will be used — before you commit. Your identity is never shared with the brand. Your feedback is aggregated with other Testers and reported anonymously.

Our Standards

Designed in alignment with recognized research frameworks.

TryLab's study methodology is designed in alignment with:

GRBN — Global Research Business Network

Ethical standards covering informed consent, participant rights, data protection, and research integrity.

Insights Association Code of Standards

U.S. framework for respondent rights, data confidentiality, and research transparency.

ASTM E2758

International standard for sensory evaluation of personal care and cosmetic products.

Our consent practices, data handling, and study design are built to be consistent with principles recognized by institutional review frameworks — including voluntary participation, informed consent, data minimization, and the right to withdraw.

Claims Support

Findings you can stand behind.

Every finding in a TryLab LabIntel report is classified as Strong, Moderate, or Weak based on the degree of consensus across structured Tester responses and supporting verbatims. No claim is surfaced below the minimum Tester response threshold for that study type.

Strong

High consensus across responses and verbatims

Moderate

Clear directional signal with some variance

Weak

Emerging pattern, below strong consensus threshold
